Past participants say: “I cannot praise this course highly enough! Corinne is one of the kindest and most generous trainers I have ever worked with, and her marketing expertise is second to none. If you feel like your marketing skills for getting more direct clients need a boost, then the course will not disappoint. And being able to connect and share tips with the other course members was invaluable.”
“After reading Corinne’s excellent book and doing private consulting sessions with her, I didn’t think there was much more I could learn about marketing to direct clients. How mistaken I was! The course greatly exceeded my expectations. I learned to think outside the box, explore new avenues of marketing and most of all, to focus not only on marketing generally, but on marketing the services clients really need and how to do so effectively and efficiently. Corinne is not only an outstanding translator, but also a competent, inspiring teacher!”

Description: Many translators would like to work with direct clients, but struggle with the nuts and bolts of how to make the leap. In this four-week online course, we’ll focus on the direct client marketing process from end to end: how to identify potential direct clients, make contact with them through active marketing or networking and referrals, decide how much to charge, and successfully work with the direct clients you find.
Because the direct client marketing process can be intimidating, we’ll discuss how to break it down into manageable steps, and how to identify marketing methods that work for your personality type, preferred client type, and budget. Each week of the course includes two live sessions and individual feedback from the instructor on your homework assignment.
-Four slide presentations (recordings provided)
-Four question and answer sessions (recordings provided)
-Individual feedback on four direct client marketing assignments
-E-mail support from Corinne during the course
-Free access to Corinne’s monthly alumni question and answer sessions after the course ends
