Instructor: Joachim Lépine, M. Ed., C. Tr., is an OTTIAQ-certified French to English translator and the owner of the Quebec-based Traductions LION. Over the past 10 years, he has taught a wide array of translation courses and workshops for clients including the University of Sherbrooke, Editors Canada, the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec, Magistrad, and public- and private-sector agencies.
Joachim grew up in the US, and has lived in Canada for 15 years. He holds two Bachelor’s degrees, one in translation and the other in fine arts, and a master’s degree in education, respectively from Concordia University, the University of Sherbrooke, and Plymouth State University.

The topics include productivity tools and approaches, translation advice from the masters, self-revision pointers, and stress- and time-management techniques. You’ll also have an opportunity to map out your ideal day and optimal work cycle, depending on your own needs and situation.
