Past participants say: “This training has really helped me. I’ve tried out several of the techniques (…) and noticed a real difference in my concentration. Thank you so much!” “Lots of content, but effectively delivered. The examples are based on real-life experience, which I think makes them more useful. The trainer kept us all engaged with his subtle touch of humor.” “Thank you! The pointers are very helpful and showed me that I’m not the only one with concentration issues – but there are solutions.” “The master class answered many questions I had about my own focus and productivity. I can’t wait to try out all the different tips and methods and see what works best for me!”

Description: Do you get to the end of the day wiped out or even borderline unable to function? If so, you’re not alone. Join instructor Joachim Lépine for a three-hour master class on productivity techniques, with a focus on editing your own translations and managing time and stress.

Translators today contend with a perfect storm of challenges, from deadline stress and fast-changing technologies to decision fatigue, mental exhaustion, digital overwhelm, isolation, and little or no margin for error.

To be successful in 2021 and beyond, translators must find real solutions to these challenges. Yet this is easier said than done—mainly because translators have unique professional requirements that require a unique set of solutions. This master class draws on more than a decade of translation and training experience to present you with real strategies that work for translators in the real world (whether freelance or in-house).

The topics include productivity tools and approaches, translation advice from the masters, self-revision pointers, and stress- and time-management techniques. You’ll also have an opportunity to map out your ideal day and optimal work cycle, depending on your own needs and situation.
