Hi Corinne,
Thanks for the links, we’ll finally meet on Friday. Just a quick word to say that I’ve changed my blog address to http://www.anothertranslator.eu/blog. If you can update your bookmarks and links, that would be nice!
See you on Friday.
Laurent
Hi Corinne (and Eve),
Thanks for sharing these links with us. They present a good recap of what’s available out there for a translator interested becoming more visible.
As a thought: could you guys ask people to tweet from your conference so those of us who can’t go to Paris 🙂 could get a feeling for what things are happening at SFT? Do you have a hashtag in mind?
Amusez-vous bien a Paris,
Cris
Thanks, Laurent and congratulations on your new site! I just updated the link.
Cris, thanks for that suggestion. Eve is handling Twitter so I will ask her about the hashtag. Et ne t’inquiete pas, on s’amuse bien!
Hi,
I just saw that you will be giving 2 presentations for the SFT.
And that you included our blog in your list.
Too bad that we did not receive any info about your presentations (may be because we are a translation company…). I’ll have been v. happy to meet you and talk with everybody about the “e_challenge” we all have to deal with these days. I am sure that if translation companies and translators could work together not only on the project side but also on the marketing and sales sides, we could achieve great results and avoid seeing companies using automatic translation tools or going for low cost solutions.
A bientôt peut être
Vincent
Hi Corinne, thanks for mentioning my blog, I feel really flattered!
I haven’t posted as much as I should have lately, but I’ll be sure to follow your post on “Want to start a blog? Write 20 posts!”, it should be helpful!
All the best,
Nelia
