Mox's book is here!

Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Alejandro Moreno-Ramos has released Mox’s Illustrated Guide to Freelance Translation, including 200 Mox cartoons and 13 essays by translator-bloggers. I was excited to be asked to write the essay on marketing and I’m really looking forward to getting my copy of the book in the mail. So if you haven’t picked up a little something for your favorite translator, this looks like an excellent holiday gift!

Believe it or not,I couldn’t hide my immense happiness when I received a copy of Mox’s book this morning. This is something really cunning, funny and facinating. This is something that we, the translators, really needed-To laugh at our own lives and therefore, more easlily, overcome the problems we face on a daily basis as a freelancers. I love the book, since one must admit that all of us have very much in common with each and every character of the book.
It is certainly worthy to get a copy.

I agree, keeping a sense of humor is critical in most aspects of life, and certainly as a freelancer. I just got my Mox book too and I’m saving it to read over winter vacation!
