Recording of "Breaking into the direct client market"

If you missed the webinar that I presented for SDL last month on “Breaking into the direct client market,” here’s the link to the recording. About 800 people attended live and the feedback was positive; as I mentioned in the Q&A section, I’ll be writing a blog post to answer some of the questions that we couldn’t get to during the live session. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Great stuff! I’m currently working as an English prof in the Taiwanese military academy system full-time + 2 other universities part-time (National Defense Medical Center + National Taipei University of Education & National Taipei University of Business) + several other part-time jobs, building up my, as we Americans say, “bank” so as to support me while transitioning into freelance work as a Spanish-to-English translator this summer. Corinne’s books, lectures, and courses are All This and All That (I took her Getting Started course & it rocked!)!

I’ve just listened to your webinar Corinne, and want to thank you very much for all your tips and advice. You and other experienced translators are real mentors for us who are starting to think “business” and I wish I could be one of you within some years, when my own business will be thriving 🙂
