The fall session of my four-week online course Getting Started as a Freelance Translator starts next Wednesday (September 6), and is open to beginning translators in any language combination. This course includes self-paced video lessons, eight live question and answer sessions (recordings provided if you can’t attend live), and individual feedback on your weekly homework assignments. You can also e-mail me whenever you want during the course, to make sure that you complete the session with all the tools you need to launch and run a successful freelance translation business. During the course, you’ll create a translation-targeted resume and cover e-mail, marketing plan, rates and billable hours sheet, and online presence plan.
