A few months ago, my colleague and friend Eve Bodeux (of Adventure Translators and Bodeux International) had the idea to start a podcast focusing on translation and the translation industry. Eve asked me to co-host the podcast with her, and we’re excited to present the first episode of Speaking of Translation, which may be the first and only podcast dedicated to our industry. In this episode, we give a preview of the upcoming American Translators Association conference and talk about the positive economic news for U.S.-based translators.
Have a listen, and feel free to send us your suggestions for future episodes!
Congratulations, Corinne! Great idea. I look forward to listening.
iTunes says you’re “clean.”

Great idea! I’m a fan already and helped spread the word among my Portuguese-speaking blog readers:

🙂
Corinne, Eve:
I am loving it! What a great idea!
You two continue to be an inspiration, much needed I should add coming back from my (too short) maternity leave!
Thanks.
Thanks so much for your comments! Eve is the one who deserves all of the credit; she had the idea and researched how to execute it, I just showed up and talked 🙂 But it’s a lot of fun, and as far as we know it’s the only podcast dedicated to translation and the industry. Hopefully we’ll get some good interviews at the ATA conference for the next episode!
Bravo !
Je l’annonce sur L’Observatoire de la Traduction, je l’insère dans ma blogliste, et je m’abonne à ce nouveau fil RSS.
Bon courage à toutes les deux,
Guillaume

Corinne, we haven’t met but anything that involves Eve will be a big success 🙂

@Andres, thank you for your comment! Yes, Eve is the real engine behind the podcast; she came up with the idea and did all of the technical work. I just showed up and talked 🙂
