Episode three of the T4T podcast is live! You can subscribe (the podcast is just called Training for Translators) in Apple Podcasts or Spotify, or you can listen right here, using the audio player below.
In my first year of freelancing, I applied to over 400 translation companies. Is it still worth applying to agencies? Does the answer depend on whether you’re a translator or an interpreter? And what happens after you apply to an agency: should you just wait for them to drop a sweet project into your lap. Spoiler alert: no! Expect to contact them two to six times before you get a response!
This podcast episode is based on two past T4T blog posts, which you can read here, and here.
