Getting started as a freelance translator or interpreter in the age of AI: Four-week course starts on Monday

The next session of Getting started as a freelance translator or interpreter in the age of AI, my four-week course for beginning and aspiring freelancers in any language combination, starts on Monday, February 3! Registration is $250, and members of the American Translators Association can use coupon code ATA for $30 off.

This class includes:

  • Self-paced video lessons and weekly tasks
  • Question and answer sessions that you can attend live, or e-mail me your questions and watch the recordings
  • Three months of follow-up support: one question and answer call per month in March, April, and May
  • A $10 coupon, good for a future Training for Translators course
  • Six months of access to the course materials

We cover the full range of topics on starting out as a freelancer: deciding if you’re ready, forecasting your income potential, choosing specializations, creating marketing materials, marketing to agencies and direct clients, creating an online presence, and thinking about certifications and the future of your business.

Past participants call this class, “Exactly what I needed,” and “AMAZING” (their all-caps, not mine!). We have a good group signed up, and there’s room for you!
