Description

Description: Despite the AI explosion, businesses have a huge demand for human-created content.

In this 90-minute master class, content marketing strategist Lee Densmer will give an overview of how to branch out into writing, content marketing, and content strategy, using your existing translation and subject-area skills as a starting point. Lee, a former content marketing manager for translation companies including Lionbridge, BIG Language, and RWS, will discuss both the craft and business sides of:
  • writing content (blogs, newsletters, social media) for companies in your specialization areas
  • advising companies on how to expand into international markets that you know well
  • providing content strategy advice to businesses
She’ll also cover how to do client outreach and provide some resources for you.
You’ll leave the class knowing how you can fit into the content writing and content strategy market, based on your expertise, appetite for learning, and interests.

Instructor: Lee Densmer is a content marketing strategist, writer, teacher, and author.  Her recent book, Content, Simplified: The Biggest B2B Content Marketing Mistakes and How to Fix Them, outlines the top 40 problems she’s seen across 19 enterprise content programs and how to fix them. She owns Globia, a content marketing consultancy that offers content strategy, editorial planning, and content development. Her key focus is helping small teams level-up their content by clarifying and simplifying the strategy and putting it into action.

Date:  Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 12 noon to 1:30 PM New York time (registration includes the recording). You can use World Clock to convert that to your time zone.

Registration: $75 including the recording.
