Description

Description: Especially if you’re looking for translation, interpreting, or writing clients online, your website is a key component of your marketing strategy. This two-hour master class will teach you the basics of SEO/GEO (search engine optimization and generative engine optimization) to help your website get ranked and get found by both traditional search engines like Google, and in AI searches on ChatGPT and similar tools.

Instructor Stacy McCormack, CEO of Musimack Marketing, will cover a variety of tactics you can implement immediately, to build your website’s Google and AI search authority. SEO is based on over 200 factors; we’ll focus on those that are most important, and those that you can influence through changes to your website’s back and front ends.

Topics will include:

1. On-page SEO. On-page SEO refers to the factors you can control on your own website like content, page titles, meta descriptions, header tags, image tags, and schema.

2. Off-page SEO. Ranking factors that occur off your website reflect your site’s popularity, relevance, trustworthiness, and authority

3. Social Proof. Explore how your social media activity affects your SEO.

4. Content writing. SEO-friendly blogs and articles posted on your site can create thought-leadership and be a great traffic-driving tool.

The session will focus on strategies that have no cost other than your time!

Instructor: Stacey McCormack is the Founder and CEO of Musimack Marketing, a digital marketing agency in Tigard, OR. She specializes in website optimization and social media engagement for small business. Stacey is passionate about consulting with solopreneurs and small business owners, to navigate a variety of free online marketing opportunities to increase brand awareness and generate demand for their business.
